And the Yankees failed to bring in runners again in the seventh, with two on and no out. Brett Gardner, the recent callup who replaced Damon, grounded out to second, but brought Melky Cabrera to third. After Jeter walked to load the bases, Bobby Abreu popped out to first, and A-Rod grounded out to second to end the inning.
