If you have watched Spots Center in the past couple of weeks it has probably done nothing but bore you with the Brett Favre saga. There is, however, another important story taking place in good ol' Wisconsin. Newly acquired CC Sabathia has been absolutely dominating on the mound for the Brewers.
Since joining the Brewers Sabathia is 7-0 with an era of 1.77. He has pitched four complete games and is turning the Brewers into a National Legue contender. Sabathia should atleast be in the running for the Cy Young Award. Brandon Webb will likely get it if the Diamondbacks could manage to make the playoffs in the feeble NL West. Tim Lincecum may also get it with his high strikeout total and low era.
Sabathia is the only one of these pitchers that has truly made a difference for the team he is pitching for. Granted Carlos Zambrano is the Cubs ace and seeing as their the best team in the NL right now he will most likely wind up with the Cy Young, but look out for the Brewers and lookout for Sabathia to win the award on only half a season.
