MLB Season Predictions

AL MVP: Grady Sizemore, a true five tool talent, can hit for power, steal bases, and is a great center fielder. The Indians look strong this year and with Sizemore at the top of their lineup they will be a very tough team to beat.

Alex Rodriguez, you can't talk MVP without talking Alex Rodriguez. Without a doubt the most complete player in baseball. If he continues to put up numbers like he has in the Bronx then A-Rod will be in contention for the MVP.

Miguel Cabrera will make a huge difference for the Tigers this season. He will be hitting with more runners on base and have more RBI oppurtunities than in Florida. Cabrera has great power and has been one of the most consistent hitters in the game. Cabrera will be one of the best hitters in the American League and will contend for the MVP award.

NL MVP: Carlos Beltran, like Sizemore, Beltran is a true five tool player. Beltran owns more pop and if he can stay healthy he will be a force in a potent Mets lineup and should rack up the RBI's.

Jose Reyes, table setter for the Mets. Has shown improvement in each of his seasons in the MLB. A terrifying basestealer, and the most exciting player in baseball. Reyes and the Mets will have a big season.

Alfonso Soriano, Looks to lead the Cubs as their offensive powerhouse. Soriano does everything from hit homeruns to steal bases. He has adjusted nicely in left field for the Cubs and will be one of the top players in the National League this season.

AL Cy Young: Josh Beckett is the best pitcher on the best team in the American League. He will rack up the wins, considering the run support he will get from the offensively potent Red Sox, and he has shown his ability to pitch in big games. Beckett is one of baseball's best pitchers and he will continue his dominance this season.

Erik Bedard now in a Mariners uniform he will get more run support than what the Orioles gave him. He will be the ace of a staff that will be in contention for playoffs. Bedard has been relatively over looked in Baltimore, but will explode onto the pitching scene with a strong season in Seattle.

CC Sabathia again a pitcher who benefits from an outstanding offense, Sabathia will continue to rack up the wins. The Indians will be one of the best teams in the AL this year and Sabathia will be the ace of their staff once again as he looks to have another outstanding season.

NL Cy Young: Jake Peavy pitching in a pitchers ballpark Peavy will keep his ERA low and continue to pile on the strikeouts. Peavy is clearly one of the most dominant pitchers in the game, and if he gets any run support he should easily win 20+ games.

Johan Santana now with the Mets Santana will benefit from pitching in the NL where the DH is absent. Santana will still put up video game like numbers in regards to strike outs and pitching for the Mets Santana should be the most winningest pitcher in the National League this season.

Carlos Zambrano a straight up bulldog on the mound. Zambrano has been one of the best pitchers in the National League and with a hungry Cubs team he will be relied on to carry them to the promise land.

AL ROY: Joba Chamberlain, P, NY Yankees showed his dominance in a short stint with the Yankees last year and looks to be one of the best pitchers for the Yankees this season.

NL ROY: Cameron Maybin, OF, Florida Marlins a top prospect traded by the Tigers, Maybin will get his chance to play in Florida. Maybin can do it all, as he displayed in the Futures Game last year. He hits for power, has great speed, and should be one of the top new comers of this season.
